How does it work?

High Voltage Power Supplies


JP Accelerator Works, Inc. developed and manufactures a high power continuous duty AC power supply for discharge lamps, and other special applications. The supplies feature off-the-line power, MOSFET-based switching modules, which provides for frequencies up to 500 kHz. The efficient modular PWM design is suitable for power levels from 2 kW to 100 kW with AC, or DC, output.

All of JPAW’s  power supplies are designed for ease-of-use, easy maintenance, high reliability, and low operational costs.


AC Power Supply Features

JPAW manufactures high power, high voltage, off-the-line switching, inverter power supplies for frequencies up to 500 kHz. The efficient, modular, PWM design is suitable for power levels of 2 kW to 100 kW, with ac, or dc, output.

One of JPAW's 10 kW systems is shown in the picture on the top of this page.  The picture below shows 1 of the 4 power modules, the PWM module, and the two control modules.  This power supply is used by Triton Thalassic Technologies, Inc. to drive a UV lamp that kills bacteria in industrial fluids.  See the following press release to learn more about Triton's system that use JPAW's power supply:
